Park is just a short walk from the beach, ferry landing and fishing. We noticed a large number of the camp sites could have used some cleaning. Cigarette buts, paper, used charcoal brickets etc. were scattered about. Picnic tables could use a coat of paint. I guess these things get overlooked because this is the only campground on the island resulting in no competition for campers. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The bathrooms and laundry were spotless. The campground is clean and in good shape. The owners go out of their way to make your stay a happy one. We were here for a month. There is a restaurant at the campground that serves excellent meals at a reasonable price.

The best WiFi around. It worked well in all parts of the campground and was never down. The staff were friendly and helpful. Park is just a short drive to the train station for service to New York City. There is a large woods within the campground that is great for walking a dog. Many small towns around that are worth a visit. The only reason for a less than excellent rating were the presence of a few "permanent" campers that were in poor condition. We would stay here again.
